Our Timely Time Entry function compares the time that work was done against the time it was logged (you want time entered in real-time when accuracy is at its best).

How long does setup take?

What needs to be configured for the Time Entry Performance Incentive to work?
The Timely Time Entry feature includes three distinct business rules that determine what data is included. Each rule has configurable fields that allow you to filter data in or out depending on what you want to measure. By default, data is filtered in - meaning all relevant entries are tracked unless specifically excluded.
- Service Board – Defines which tickets time entries are included in the Time Entry tracking.
- Members – Select which engineers or roles are included (you can include or exclude groups or members).
- Service Time Entry – Controls how and when time entries (not project based entries) are evaluated for timeliness. In addition, three additional metrics affect the calculations displayed in the Timely Time Entry report.
- Timely Time Entries: Classifies time entries as timely, early, or late.
- In-Progress Time Entries: Measures how timely the engineer is with changing the status of a ticket to a work in progress type status prior to them beginning their work
- Work In Progress Ticket Statuses: specifies which ticket statuses represent work in progress type statuses.
